His real name is James Howlett or Logan Howlett, born in Alberta, Canada, the 19th century. Since he found that his birth father killed foster father, his mutant abilities showed up. His mutant abilities are delaying aging, terrific self-healing capability and bone claws in each hand. Then he was caught by William Stryker and was listed as on of the experimental subjects of X-weapon plan, his bones were infused with Adamantium, his bone claws turned into indestructible steel claws, which made Logan truly become Wolverine.
