Polaris is one of the characters of the American Marvel Comics. Her real name is Lorna Dane. Co-designed by Arnold Drake and Jim Steranko, she firstly appeared in the X-Men 49th (October, 1968). Her main abilities are controlling the earth magnetic field, creating force field and flying. When her mind concentrates, she can perceive the surrounded things only with the form of magnetic energy. Her green hair is a symbol of her mutant abilities.
