Sinestro Corps co-created by Jeff Jones and Ethan Van Tin Chu is a supervillain team of the DC comics who makes its debut in Green Lantern Volume 4, Phase 10 (May 2006), and is one of the seven Lantern Corps. Like the other six corps, their ability comes from the emotional electromagnetic spectrum, which replenishes energy through the emotions of fear. The leader of the Sinestro Corps, Sinestro, with the most powerful willpower and the technology to use the energy ring was once known as the greatest Green Lantern. However, his heart is as firm as steel and as cold as steel, and his determination is carried out in the control of his district, thus he becomes the autocratic emperor without mercy.
Similar to the green light, the yellow lantern ring can be used to make the object in the user's mind become a reality, such as a barrier, weapon or prop. Its owners tend to have a strong personal opinion. Some owners are good at creating mythical monsters and hurling scenes like nightmares, and the party of beasts that have nurtured the owner since young. Sinestro is good at creating cold weapons, such as the tomahawk, and putting himself into the melee, or creating the same giants as himself.
